For existing assets, the free on-site maintenance report records condition, photographs and repair priorities. Our published Greenbrook Primary School project provides local evidence of perimeter fencing and intercom-gate work; it is not presented as a warehouse boom-gate installation.

Gate weight, wind exposure, available run-back space, drainage and usage determine the structural and automation scope. Tracked sliding and cantilever designs use different support arrangements, so the choice follows the measured site conditions. RJL selects suitable operators and mechanical hardware, then coordinates maintenance access and safe operating procedures around the production schedule.
Tullamarine: freight and airport-adjacent perimeters
Restricted access, contractor inductions and operating windows shape works around Tullamarine and Melbourne Airport. RJL’s published airport security upgrade includes automatic sliding gates, automated tyre spikes, loop and radar detection, and intercom access. New camera, ANPR or sensor connections are assessed against the actual equipment and site requirements rather than assumed from the brand name.
Detection and custom access management
RJL supplies and installs OPTEX equipment, including above-ground vehicle-presence options that avoid an inductive loop cut into the road. Vehicle detection and pedestrian safety require different controls. MagicKeys, developed in-house over two years, can be custom-configured around supported gates, readers and entry workflows; the agreed scope establishes which management and integration functions the site receives.
Maintenance and 24/7 Rapid Response
RJL structures preventive maintenance around operating cycles, asset condition and the consequence of an entrance failure. Service records and prioritised findings help portfolio managers plan repairs and replacement work.
