  • 10-year warranty on eligible custom steel gates and panels
  • Manufacturer warranties on motors, automation and materials
  • Safety testing, lubrication and adjustment
  • Digital service records and preventative recommendations
  • Standard, commercial and heavy-duty service frequencies

Published coverage guide

A clear view of the complete warranty structure.

RJL’s 10-year promise applies to eligible custom structural steelwork. Automation, finishes and bought-in components carry their own applicable coverage. Your signed quote, handover pack and written warranty always confirm the final terms.

01

10-year structural coverage

Eligible custom-fabricated steel gate frames and fence panels can be backed by RJL’s 10-year structural warranty. Coverage is tied to the documented project scope, correct use and required maintenance.

  • Custom steel gate frames and eligible fabricated panels
  • Structural integrity and fabrication workmanship
  • Project-specific documentation supplied at handover
  • Assessment against the original approved design and scope
02

Automation and finishes

Motors, controllers, safety devices, coatings and bought-in components carry the applicable manufacturer or project warranty. Published RJL guidance identifies three-year manufacturer coverage for selected CAME and Beninca motors and seven-year powder-coat coverage on eligible work.

  • Manufacturer terms apply to automation components
  • Serial numbers and installation records help speed assessment
  • Finish warranties depend on preparation, environment and care
  • Impact, misuse and unauthorised alterations are assessed separately
03

Keeping coverage current

Commercial gates are moving machines. Planned servicing helps preserve safe operation, identifies wear before failure and provides the maintenance history commonly required for warranty assessment.

  • Complete servicing at the interval set for the site
  • Keep service reports, photos and repair approvals
  • Report impact, flooding or abnormal operation promptly
  • Use qualified technicians for repairs and modifications

Frequently asked questions

Useful answers before you contact the team.

What can affect warranty coverage?

Unauthorised modifications, missed servicing, impact or misuse, flooding, salt exposure beyond the specified finish, and work performed outside the approved repair process may affect a claim. RJL assesses the asset, history and written warranty before confirming coverage.

Does the 10-year warranty cover the motor?

The 10-year offer relates to eligible custom structural steelwork. Motors, controllers, safety devices and other components are covered under their applicable manufacturer or project warranty.

How often should a commercial gate be serviced?

RJL’s published plans use 12-month, 6-month and 3-month intervals. The right frequency depends on daily cycles, gate weight, environment, safety risk and how critical the entrance is to operations.

What should I send with a warranty enquiry?

Send the site address, asset or gate number, photos or video of the issue, the date it started, any impact event, and the latest service report. That gives the team enough information to triage the next step.
